The Centre of Language and Culture of China (GASU CLCC)

The Centre is a branch of the Confucius Class of Novosibirsk State University, and its Chinese partner is Xinjiang University (Urumchi, the Peoples Republic of China).

The activity of the CLCC is directed on the following issues:

• Teaching the Chinese language to a wide range of people;

• Cooperation with educational and scientific institutions of China;

• Popularization of knowledge about China.

• Providing information on programs of language training in China.

The Centre also organizes various public events to tell about the history and unique Chinese culture, gives master classes in Chinese cuisine, traditional paper-cut art, ideographic writing, and others.
